Charlie was born and raised outside of Dawson, Georgia, on a farm. His wife, Lynn is a big city girl from Jacksonville, Florida. They met and fell in love while attending Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. They married in December 1985. Their son, Justin was born in Louisville, Kentucky after Charlie completed his degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Their daughter, Kalyn was born three years (to the day) later in Albany, Georgia. Charlie and Lynn enjoy time together and with their family, and have been at Grove Level since January 2001. They love the Lord and are thankful for their church family at Grove Level.

Thomas and his wife Paige grew up in Cleveland, TN and married in 1990. They are the proud parents of Elizabeth and Jacob. Thomas comes to Grove Level after having served as staff missionary in South Africa for a little over 7 years. Thomas has had several stops teaching and coaching in high schools throughout the South. He also served with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 7 years. He is a University of Tennessee and Southeastern Seminary graduate. Thomas enjoys time with his family, food, anything outdoors, sports, reading, teaching and theology.

Brandon was raised in Cartersville, GA. He attended Truett-McConnell College where he met his wife, Lauren. Following their wedding, they moved to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he completed a Master of Divinity. Before joining the staff at Grove Level, Brandon served as an Associate Pastor of Education and Students. Brandon and Lauren have three beautiful children and have a desire to see families growing closer to each other as they pursue Christ.

Tyler grew up in the small town of Pelham, Georgia. While studying at Valdosta State University, his love for the local church grew exponentially. When God called him into ministry, he enrolled at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, where he met his wife, Deanna. The Singletons are passionate about reaching and teaching others with the Word of God. Tyler loves spending time with their children, reading, drinking coffee, and long-distance running.

Teresa has served as Children’s Director at Grove Level since 1999. God called her from teaching school in the local elementary school after 16 years to church ministry. She is married to Terry Thomas and mother to Andrew (married to Stephanie) and Ryan (married to Staci) Thomas. Teresa is a graduate of West Georgia College and has been a member at Grove Level her entire life. Her passion is for Grove Level to be a place where children know God, love His Word, and serve His church.

Staci’s family moved to Dalton when she was two years old and she grew up attending Grove Level. She graduated from Lee University with a degree in Elementary Education and earned her Master’s In Teaching from Piedmont College. Before officially joining the Grove Level Children’s Ministry team, Staci taught in Whitfield County Schools for four years. She married Ryan Thomas in 2012 and they have two chocolate labs, Hank and Ellie. Staci and Ryan have always had a heart for children’s ministry and are excited about this opportunity.
